Divine electronic delicacies from Ethrelite, making a very welcome debut with L.A.’s Memory No.36 only shortly after their amazing Maxwell Sterling release. Ethrelite’s introduction to the world comes in some Next Form of tranquillising sonic inhalants, diffusing mouth-watering, noctilucent chords into free-floating formations harnessed only by signature high-register hi-hat and snare trills that feel like Suicideyear’s deep south hip hop instrumentals rent to the skies by Co La.

When ingested in one 13 track sitting, the effect is deliriously light headed but never hectic, thanks to his sparingly economical arrangements of keys and sprays of hi-hat thizz which are arguably best compared with Mark Fell and DJ Sprinkles’ output than most other the vapour cats who are currently lolling the ethersphere.

Seriously, either my Lucozade has got extra bubbles this morning or this is some really strong stuff, the kind you might want to avoid whilst driving or doing something that requires attention, because Next Form is likely to be a massive, lush distraction in the most sublime sense.
